Ali Professional, Business Unit of Ali SpA, specialized in Head Hunting for Manager / Director profiles, is supporting a multi-national Company with focus on EPC / Oil&Gas Global projects. Our client is seeking an EXPEDITOR for a long term rolling contract in Oil&Gas/EPC mainly Overseas / far East.
EXPEDITER (EXPEDITOR) & SQE EPC OIL&GAS
The Expeditor is responsible for expediting specific deliverables on one or more project as directed.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviews purchase order deliveryrequirements to assure quality and project requirements are met
Identifies and understands levels ofrequired expediting and actions workload to optimize material deliveriesaccording to project schedule requirements and shop demands
Includes accurate and timely expeditingof Purchase Orders and MTRs
Completes consistent and timely updatesto delivery dates in the Company system, and distributes weekly expeditingreports to the Project Team and to Suppliers
Ensures Suppliers timely delivery ofall items on Purchase Orders to maintain Project schedule
Works with procurement management to identify performance gaps and delays including engineering drawing delays, fabrication problems, delivery delays, sub-supplier management and peopleresources
Ensures expediting issues are being coordinated between the other departments, offices, fabrication - construction teams to meet project requirements and deadlines
Notifies and collaborates with Logistics subject matter expert on material movements
Maintains and promotes a focus on CB&Is end product whether procurement, engineering, fabrication or construction related
Ensures effective communications amongst procurement disciplines, clients, project teams, and suppliers
Understanding and consistent use of expediting procedures as established in company policies.
Applicants will have an Engineering background, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry for the following duties:
Supplier Quality ENG (SQE) activity: visiting main supplieres in Italy / Europe
following documentation
organising with vendors / Suppliers
starting the fabrication & following the fabrication through
organise inspection
Liaising with the internal Client, our Main Contractor, the SCM Dept., the Procurement Dept. and Quality Engineering, Project Management Team for documentation approvals
GAS+MBO around 50-55KEUR. + Relocation support
Candidates must be an EU passport holder and have the right to work within the EU, sponsorship will not be provided. We need the availability to travel all around Europe, for inspection to the Suppliers, when requested.
